Dr. Scott Lyons is convinced that we are addicted drama because of social media.


Lyons’s new book Addicted To Dramaexplains that drama can be a stress reaction. The psychologist explains that, like all addictions it is hard to identify in ourselves. However, there could be a way that our nervous system overreacts to life.

Lyons explains that stress, and the inability of feeling satisfaction can be behind these behaviors. Some people will keep themselves busy with social and work events in order to avoid being alone or facing their inner problems.
