
Jeremy Holt reimagines one of the most iconic American stories to reflect America’s current culture.
Holt’s Gatsby This is a modern version of the classic F Scott Fitzgerald novel. The Great Gatsby, with an queer and racially varied spin. Holt claims that the source material is something they appreciate deeply, even though they only discovered it later in their lives. They shared that they were “pleasantly shocked with how relevant it still felt even though it was almost 100 years old.”

Sonia Baghdady reports that “Because of my work on the characters and how I made them more relatable for teenagers, I had to change a lot of relationships and some plot points out of necessity.” Advocate Now. “But, I wanted to be sure I achieved those major milestones.”
