When life changes and a difficult time begins then it’s not always easy to remain positive.
I am aware.
Even if you’re pretty optimistic and positive in daily life, it’s easy to get dragged down into pessimism and a sad funk when you’re having a rough week or tough month.
It can be a huge difference to maintain a positive attitude.
So in today’s post I’d like to share the best tips and habits that have helped me over the past 10+ years and still helps me today to handle times like that in a better, healthier and more helpful way.

1. Feel what you feel and know it’s OK to do so.
When times are tough, I find that it’s important to acknowledge and accept how I feel.
When a negative situation has just happened and I’m in the middle of it then I at first may feel afraid, nervous, worried or angry. You may feel a mixture of these emotions. That’s normal.
It is easier to deal with the negative emotions and thoughts that may arise in such a situation if they are acknowledged.
It also helps me, after a time, to move on to the following stage…
